Discovering from the distillery Terre de Rose<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Dou\u00e9 en Anjou is the capital of the Rose<\/strong>. The distillery, Terre de Rose<\/a>, welcomes you every year from April to September. The grounds cover 8 hectares with over 80 breeds of roses. During your walk, you can visit the distillery and discover the secrets of rose essential oil<\/strong> production. The little ones can enjoy the animal park<\/strong>. You can then access the 3 troglodytic rooms<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This visit is ideal for providing a total change of scenery for the whole family. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

In the Anjou region, 1,200 km of tunnels <\/strong>have been dug around Saumur over more than 11,000 years. You can visit exceptional sites<\/strong> such as the mysteries of the faluns or the troglo village at Rochemenier<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Paths of the Rose<\/strong> in Dou\u00e9<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Les Chemins de La Rose<\/a> is a rose garden <\/strong>created in 1999 in Dou\u00e9 la Fontaine, the birthplace of the rose. An English-style garden<\/strong> spread over 4 hectares, you’ll discover many varieties of roses – around 13,000 different<\/strong> varieties. The park is open from March to November, with each season bringing a different type of flower to life. Tours are available for individuals, families, groups and even 2CVs <\/strong>!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our campsite is located between Saumur and Cholet<\/a>. You will find of course a lot of others visits to do like for exemple inSaumur le cadre noir<\/strong>or the mus\u00e9e des blind\u00e9s<\/strong>as well the parc oriental \u00e0 Maul\u00e9vrier<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
