Zoo Bioparc: a day up close to the animals
Our campsite in the heart of Maine-et-Loire is ideally located less than 1 hour’s drive from 2 major national parks. The Bioparc is just 5 minutes from the campsite.
The Bioparc zoo in Doué-la-Fontaine was created in 1961 by the founders of the Zoo des Sables in Les Sables d’Olonne. The park attracts an incredible number of visitors to the region, and has made Doué-la-Fontaine famous. It is unique in that it exists in troglodyte quarries and is home to 130 different species, with 1,900 animals in its park. The zoo is best known for its giraffins, born late last year, and wolf pups, born early this year.
Visit Puy du Fou
The prestigious Puy du Fou park is less than 1 hour from the campsite. It’s a great way to get there for the superb Cinescénie show. The park takes you on a journey from the Roman Empire to the First World War, through 20 sensational shows.

Futuroscope

The Futuroscope theme park is just 1 hour’s drive from the campsite. It’s time for a little escapade into the forces of space.
You can go as an individual, a family or a group. In addition to Objectif Mars and Clé des Songes, there are a host of other attractions to visit.
